Job Title: Bookkeeper/Accounts Technician
Location: Co. Cork (On-site)
Salary: €30,000 – €32,000 per year

About the Role:
A well-established accountancy firm is seeking a skilled and proactive Bookkeeper/Accounts Tech. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and experience in managing bookkeeping tasks who is comfortable using modern technology to improve efficiency.
Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including sales, purchases, journal entries, and bank transactions
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and file VAT, RTD returns, RCT, and payroll
• Manage tax registrations with Revenue
• Maintain accurate digital filing systems
• Submit basic CRO & RBO forms such as A1, B1, or RBN1
• Support additional accounting tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Experience in bookkeeping and accounting
• Proficiency with Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, ROS, and CORE
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Tech-savvy, with the ability to adapt to new software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
