Role - Senior Cloud Accountant
Location – Didsbury
Salary - £34,000 - £40,000

Puro Accountancy are delighted to be supporting an Accountancy practice in the south Manchester area in their search for a full or part time permanent Senior Cloud Accountant to join their friendly well-established team of accountancy professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in IT projects, including building cloud-based accounting platforms and integrating bolt-on applications for clients.
• Deliver advisory services and prepare board-level documents like management accounts for growing clients.
• Provide up-to-date cloud accounting data to support client business decisions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing expectations effectively.
• Train, coach, and review the work of junior team members.
• Contribute to business development by supporting campaigns, pitches, and identifying new opportunities.
• Leverage your professional network to attract new clients and offer additional services.
• Take a hands-on approach to support the team and ensure tasks are completed.

Requirements:

• Recognised professional accountancy qualification - ACCA/ACA or similar
• Experienced Senior in a fast paced environment with excellent knowledge of cloud accounting platforms
• Commercial and analytical skills to provide advisory services, management accounts and documents to growth clients
• Good technical working knowledge of accounting and VAT rules and principles
• Experience of delivering training and mentoring more junior colleagues
• IT proficient (ideally with Microsoft packages and Xero – full training will be provided on bespoke accounts software)
