Job Description:
A leading accountancy practice in Monaghan is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional looking to advance their career in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Management: Lead and execute audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during audits, providing clear communication and expert advice.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with junior team members, offering guidance and support to ensure high-quality audit work.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements and audit reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks within client operations and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is essential.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in audit within a practice environment.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of audit processes and accounting standards, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively under deadlines.
