If so, we welcome you to delve into the exciting opportunity of becoming a Tax Senior Associate with our widely regarded client in St Helens.

Responsibilities for the Tax Senior will include:

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Research tax issues and stay updated on tax law changes
• Assist with tax planning and strategy development for clients
• Assist in tax audits and respond to tax authorities' inquiries
• Stay compliant with all relevant tax regulations and deadlines
• Collaborate with other departments such as audit and consulting to provide comprehensive client services.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries
• Supervise and train junior staff members
• Review financial statements and other relevant documents for tax implications

To be considered for the role of Tax Senior you will be/have:

• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel
• Ideally 3-5 years of experience in UK tax accounting or related field
• Ability to work well in a team and supervise junior staff members.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
