I am currently seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Manager to join my client’s company and lead their team and continue our tradition of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage tax preparation, planning, and review for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
- Provide IRS resolution services, including representing clients in audits and handling disputes.
- Deliver business consulting services with a focus on tax strategies, financial planning, and compliance.
- Conduct forensic accounting investigations, identifying discrepancies, and providing expert insight for legal proceedings or business assessments.
- Review and analyze financial data to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with relevant tax laws.
- Mentor and lead a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Maintain strong client relationships by offering personalized and proactive tax advice.
- Stay updated on changing tax laws and ensure the firm’s processes are compliant with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation, IRS resolution, business consulting, or forensic accounting.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
- Experience managing or leading a team of tax professionals.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly to clients.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
