Puro Accountancy are working with a chartered accountancy practice who are looking for a Tax Manager to join their team. They have several offices and due to expansion they are looking for someone to be based in the Huntingdon office.

The role

• Managing your own portfolio of clients
• Reviewing of Corporation tax computations
• Preparation of partnership, trust and personal tax returns
• Assisting with the development of trainees, including reviewing their work and providing feedback
• Liaising directly with clients to clear queries
• Liaising with third parties such as HMRC
• Adhering to internal and statutory deadlines
• Working closely with managers and other team members to complete jobs
• Assisting with tax planning strategies
• Managing a team of tax seniors and trainees
• Research & Development claims

You will need

• CTA qualified or qualified by experience to a similar level
• 3+ years experience in a UK accountancy practice
• Experience managing a portfolio and being first point of contact for your clients
• Experience of CCH software package preferred but not required
• Able to manage your own workload effectively and efficiently
