Puro Accountancy is pleased to assist a Manchester based Accountancy firm in their quest for a full-time or part-time permanent Senior Accountant to join their friendly & experienced team of accounting professionals.
As a Senior Accountant, you will hold a vital role in collaborating with a diverse clientele, delivering professional accounting services and financial guidance.
Responsibilities for the Semi Senior/Senior Accountant will entail:
- Overseeing a client portfolio, providing high quality accounting and taxation services
- Drafting and reviewing annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns
- Offering financial guidance and ensuring compliance to accounting standards and tax regulations
- Guiding and supervising junior team members, offering instruction and support as needed.
- Assisting with special projects and Adhoc tasks, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
- Fostering strong client relations, identifying avenues for business expansion and enhancement.
To be eligible for the role of Semi Senior/Senior Accountant, candidates should possess:
- ACCA or ACA qualification, preferably with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accountancy firm.
- Part-qualification or Qualified by Experience (QBE) will also be considered.
- Hold strong technical proficiency in accounting standards, tax laws, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Sage, and Accounting and Taxation software.
- Friendly demeanour and adeptness at teamwork.
- Proficient communication skills, comfortable interacting with clients and colleagues across all levels.
