Semi Senior Accountant required!

Up to £40K DOE

Job Description:

• Preparing statutory accounts
• Prepare company tax computations
• Help junior staff when needed
• Prepare self-assessment returns
• May help if needed with VAT but not too much
• Deal with HMRC queries regaring tax, calling them and replying to clients etc
• Must know how to use Xero and Quickbooks

Requirements:

• Studying for ACCA/ACA qualification or qualified by experience
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
• Must have good double entry knowledge
• Good knowledge and experience of a variety of accounting softwares
• Must be a good communicator & be able build relationships with clients
