My client, who are a busy Accountancy Practice are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Semi-Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team in Retford, Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable firm that offers a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts for a diverse range of clients
• Completing tax returns and providing tax advice
• Supporting senior accountants with audits and financial statement preparations
• Conducting bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Liaising with clients to resolve accounting queries and provide professional assistance

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
