Semi Senior Accountant

Semi Senior Accountant required!
Up to £35K DOE

We are delighted to be partnering with a thriving accountancy practice based in North London who are looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their team. This position has become available due to the team expanding after a very successful year. If you have experience working in a UK accountancy practice and are looking to work for an accountancy practice that can support your career progression then this could be a great role for you!

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of year end accounts under both FRS102 & FRS105
• Preparing personal tax returns for a variety of clients
• Completing general bookkeeping duties
• Supporting junior team members when required
• Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients

Requirements:

• Part way through either accounting or tax qualifications such as AAT/ACCA/ACA/ATT/CTA
• Must have at least 2 years experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of tax principles.
• Proficient in using a variety of accounting softwares.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with numerical data accurately.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
