Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of annual accounts and VAT returns
- Preparation of tax returns for individuals and limited companies
- Provide full support to clients and assisting with queries in person, telephone and email
- Build positive relationships with clients in day to day work
- Identify areas to develop new business or offer additional services and follow these opportunities through to ensure implementation
- Managing your own portfolio of clients and being the main point of contact for these
- Oversee the training and development of your team
- Manage staff and workflow to ensure internal deadlines are met
- Lead team meetings and provide constructive feedback to your team
Qualifications and Experience:
- ACCA/ ACA Qualified
- Must have at least 3 years UK accountancy practice experience
- Proven experience in managing a contractor portfolio is highly valued
- Proficiency in producing comprehensive year-end accounts
- Confident and polished communication skills for seamless client interactions
