Puro Accountancy are thrilled to be aiding an established accountancy firm who are seeking an accomplished outsourced finance professionals for a rewarding role while they continue to expand. Join our client’s team in an independent firm operating across Central Scotland, with over 90 staff and 9 partners. The client's commitment is to "listen, advise, and support clients in achieving their goals," and having the right individuals on board is crucial to delivering this service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Process invoices, expenses, and financial transactions swiftly, ensuring accurate VAT and General Ledger code recording.
  • Handle the preparation and issuance of sales invoices for clients.
  • Oversee reconciliation of supplier/vendor accounts and prepare payment runs for approval.
  • Monitor bank and control account reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely preparation and reconciliation of VAT liabilities and returns, submitting to HMRC.
  • Supervise the preparation and posting of management accounting journals, including report generation.
  • Respond promptly to client queries via telephone and email.
  • Manage filing and document organization.
