Client Manager - Accountancy Practice
Shrewsbury
Up to £42,000 DOE

The Role: As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing a range of accounting and taxation services to meet their needs. You will work closely with clients to understand their businesses and provide tailored advice to help them achieve their goals. You will also be responsible for managing and mentoring junior team members and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Providing a range of accounting and taxation services, including year-end accounts, tax returns, VAT returns and management accounts
  • Developing strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted advisor to help them achieve their goals
  • Managing and mentoring junior team members, providing training and support as required
  • Ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and meets the relevant regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and taxation principles
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Proven experience in managing a portfolio of clients and mentoring junior team members
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and proactive approach
