Position Overview: I am seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join my client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, with a proven ability to manage the financial and tax needs of clients within our specialized industries. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and the ability to deliver strategic financial guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports for clients in Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, Retail, Professional Services, Real Estate & Construction, and Healthcare sectors.
- Provide comprehensive tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to clients, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, offering actionable insights to help clients achieve their business objectives.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective accounting strategies that align with industry-specific challenges and goals.
- Conduct audits, reviews, and compilations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, addressing their financial and tax-related inquiries and providing ongoing support.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff, providing guidance and feedback to foster their professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and tax laws, ensuring the firm and its clients remain compliant and informed.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a strong emphasis on tax and financial reporting.
- Experience working with clients in one or more of the following industries: Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, Retail, Professional Services, Real Estate & Construction, and Healthcare.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
