Our client, a small but growing accountancy practice in Cowdenbeath, is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their expanding team. Renowned for their commitment to excellence and customer service, they offer a vibrant and forward-thinking workplace environment.
Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage financial transactions and conduct account reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT returns and self-assessments with precision and timeliness.
• Efficiently handle invoices, expenses, and financial documentation.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines.

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum two years' bookkeeping experience, preferably in an accountancy practice.
• Currently studying AAT or equivalent or possess relevant experience.
• Proficient in various accounting software.
• Familiarity with VAT regulations and self-assessment preferred, CIS knowledge advantageous.
