Salary: £38,000 - £45,000

We are seeking an experienced and ideally qualified Audit Senior to join a dynamic team in Manchester. The successful candidate will take on a key role in managing and executing audit engagements within a practice setting, while providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, executing, and completing financial and operational audits
• Evaluate internal controls, identify areas of risk, and develop audit plans to mitigate potential issues
• Review and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and providing guidance on audit-related matters
• Mentor and supervise junior audit staff, providing support, training, and feedback as needed

Qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified ideally 
• Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of audit procedures and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively
