Puro Accountancy are delighted to be working with a reputable and growing accounting firm in Birmingham who are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their team. As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead audit engagements from planning to completion
• Supervise, mentor and train junior staff members
• Review and evaluate the work of junior staff members
• Interact with clients to assess their needs and deliver timely and effective solutions
• Prepare and review audit reports and financial statements
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations and standards

Qualifications:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of experience in external audit
• Excellent technical skills and knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
