They are expanding their Audit department and are in search of a Qualified Senior Auditor. As a leading firm, they serve a diverse clientele, including private clients, charities, landed estates, property funds, and owner-managed businesses.

In this pivotal role, the Senior Auditor will lead various audits, overseeing junior staff while collaborating with tax professionals, partners, and clients. Ideal for someone with strong technical skills and audit expertise, this position offers an exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan activities and set priorities to achieve timely results.
  • Lead diverse audits, ensuring quality and meeting client needs.
  • Collaborate cooperatively, positively influencing team participation.
  • Supervise and coach junior staff, working closely with tax professionals, partners, and clients.
  • Encourage self-development and support growth within the firm.
  • Define and assess performance measures for continuous improvement.
  • Consider different options broadly before deciding on the best solution.
  • Communicate confidently and effectively in a clear, polite, and purposeful manner.
  • Motivate yourself and others for success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Gain broad professional training, working with diverse clients in general practice or audit.
  • Hold a CA/ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) with strong exam performance.
  • Have experience in preparing group accounts and conducting audits.
  • Benefit from familiarity with electronic auditing tools like CCH Audit Automation.
  • While not necessary, experience in auditing larger groups and charities is desirable.
