Puro Accountancy are delighted to be working with a leading accountancy practice based in Stoke-on-Trent, renowned for their exceptional client service and commitment to professional growth. Their dynamic and growing team is seeking a talented Audit Semi-Senior to join them in delivering outstanding financial solutions to their diverse client base.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in planning and conducting audit assignments
• Perform detailed testing of audit areas and identify areas of improvement
• Prepare audit files, financial statements, and management reports
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of audits
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships
• Stay up to date with relevant accounting and auditing standards
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of audit experience within an accountancy practice
• Working towards ACA/ACCA qualification
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Proficient in using audit software and MS Office applications
