Salary Range: £34,000 - £38,000 (Dependant on Experience)

Puro Accountancy is pleased to assist an Accountancy firm in Blackburn in their quest for a full-time Audit Semi Senior to join their cohesive and experienced team of accounting professionals.

Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Senior include:

• Delivering a high level of service to corporate clients and business owners.
• About 75% of the role will be audit.
• The other 25% will focussing on year-end accounts prep and advisory projects on an ad-hoc basis.
• You'll also be working a mixture of on-site at clients’ premises, in the office and at home.
• Train and mentor junior audit team members, focusing on improving quality and efficiency.
• As you gain experience, you'll take responsibility for smaller audits and report directly to Responsible Individuals.
• There's always career progression to Accounts Senior, Managerial positions and beyond.

For the Accounts Senior role candidates should possess:

• Minimum of 18 months’ experience within a UK Practice Accountancy firm
• Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Quickbooks, and other Accounting software
• Ideally you will be qualified but part-qualified or QBE will be considered
• Effective communication skills, capable of interacting confidently with clients and colleagues across all levels
