Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of audit professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary.
  • Plan and execute complex audits, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify control weaknesses, and recommend process improvements to enhance client operations.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing proactive solutions and advice.
  • Oversee the preparation of audit reports and communicate findings to clients, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends to ensure adherence to best practices.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Audit Manager within a reputable accounting firm in the UK.
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Sound judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
