Puro Accountancy is excited to recruit for a chartered accountancy firm in Stockton-on-Tees. Our client, an ACCA-approved employer, is expanding its operations and client portfolio. We seek a qualified and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join their committed team.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits for diverse clients.
• Stay ahead of current regulations and enhance technical proficiency.
• Lead audit assignments, manage inquiries from accounts and tax managers
• Prepare management accounts and VAT returns.
• Use Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
• Provide supervision, training, and mentorship to junior team members.
• Occasional travel to client sites.

Ideal Candidate:

• ACA/ACCA Qualified or Qualified by Experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a UK practice accountancy role.
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
