Job Opportunity: Audit and Accounts Manager – Dublin 12
A well-established, family-run accountancy practice in Dublin 12 is seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join their growing team. With a close-knit environment of around 20 staff, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of clients while maintaining a strong work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring all audits are conducted efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management accounts for a diverse range of clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, providing expert advice and guidance on accounting, tax, and audit matters.
• Manage and mentor junior staff, providing training and support to develop their skills and ensure quality client service.
• Ensure deadlines are met and audits are delivered on time and within budget.
• Liaise with partners and senior management to ensure smooth delivery of client services.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in audit and accounts, within an Irish accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and FRS 102/105.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Experience managing and mentoring junior staff.
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency with accounting and audit software.
