Position: Audit & Accounts Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (Dependant on Experience)
Are you an ambitious and dedicated Audit & Accounts Manager looking for a new opportunity in the Manchester area? Our client, a leading and rapidly expanding accountancy practice is actively recruiting for a talented individual to join their dynamic team.

About the Role:
- The role will be a mix of working on statutory audits and year-end accounts preparation and ad hoc advisory projects for clients.
- Deliver high quality advisory work as part of the audit & accounts team, providing a high level of service to a large range of corporate clients and business owners.
- You’ll be based either working on-site at clients’ premises, based in the office or either at home.
- This role would suit someone who enjoys client facing and developing strong long-term relationships.
- There will be an opportunity to work with a current partner and/or director to lead and develop the solicitor accounts rules and/or charities specialism within the audit team. You will work alongside other managers and assistant managers in the team, contributing to the effective running of the department and identifying improvements in quality and efficiency alongside identifying training needs and delivering such training internally to the team.
- You will be able to utilise previous experience in ensuring accounts and audit are delivered in a timely manner, whilst being a strong and effective communicator.
- You will have experience of preparing and reviewing financial statements prepared in accordance with FRS101, FRS102 and FRS102-1A, and be able to support clients and the team with technical accounting matters.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a UK Practice Accountancy firm
- Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Quickbooks, and other Accounting software
- Ideally you will be qualified but QBE will be considered
- Effective communication skills, capable of interacting confidently with clients and colleagues across all levels
