Salary Range: £32,000 - £38,000

Puro Accountancy is pleased to assist an Accountancy firm in Wirral in their quest for a full-time Senior Accountant to join their cohesive and experienced team of accounting professionals.

Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Senior include:

• Managing a client portfolio, ensuring the delivery of top-notch accounting and tax services
• Preparation and review of annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns
• Offering financial guidance while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and tax regulations
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members, with a focus on training and development
• Assisting in special projects and ad-hoc tasks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
• Nurturing strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business expansion and enhancement

For the Accounts Senior role candidates should possess:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience within a UK Practice Accountancy firm
• Proficiency in Excel, Xero, QuickBooks, and other Accounting software
• Ideally will be qualified but part-qualified or QBE will be considered
• Effective communication skills, capable of interacting confidently with clients and colleagues across all levels
