Puro Accountancy is excited to assist an Accountancy firm in the south Manchester region in their quest for an individual to assist with Account Management that is going to integrate into their warm and established team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities of the Position:

• Assist and support the Senior Client Manager with managing client portfolios and meeting filing deadlines for year-end accounts and corporation tax returns.
• Manage your own client pool within the broader portfolio.
• Oversee and develop the use of Cloud Accounting and related applications.
• Supervise and train a team of Senior Client Accountants and Client Accountants.
• Ensure accurate and timely periodic bookkeeping and VAT returns for clients.
• Prepare year-end accounts, financial statements, tax computations, management accounts, business and personal tax computations, self-assessments, projections, and budgets.
• Use IRIS Practice Suite/TaxCalc, Sage, and cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage Online, QuickBooks).
• Offer tax planning and business valuation services.
• Promote and sell company services to new clients, financial institutions, and the business community.

To be eligible for the Position:

• Hold at least 3+ years’ experience working in a UK based practice.
• Ideally AAT or ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
