We are actively looking for an Accounts Assistant to become part of a well established accountancy practice located in the centre of Norwich. Responsibilities:

• Drafting accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Drafting corporation tax returns
• Some bookkeeping work, including preparation of VAT returns
• Audit fieldwork
• Drafting personal tax returns
• Use of various software packages, IRIS, Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, Kashflow

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience working in a UK accountancy practice
• Accounting qualifications such as AAT/ACCA are desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• A strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
