Melton-Mowbray
Up to £26k DOE

We are a specialist accountancy practice recruiter working with our client, a highly reputable and busy accountancy practice located in Melton Mowbray. Our client is known for providing top-notch financial services to a diverse range of clients, including businesses of all sizes, individuals, and organizations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with bookkeeping duties, maintaining accurate financial records for clients.
  • Processing invoices, expenses, and payments promptly and accurately.
  • Reconciling bank statements and financial accounts.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Liaising with clients and internal team members to address queries and provide support as needed.
  • Assisting with payroll processing and related tasks.
  • Contributing to the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory compliance activities.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest accounting principles and regulations.


To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • AAT Level 3 and above
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well both independently and within a team.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and professional development.
