Puro Accountancy are delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy firm based in Chesterfield. Our client is currently searching for an Accounts Assistant to join their expanding team. If you are a driven part qualified accountant looking to work for a forward-thinking accountancy practice that can support your career progression & studies then we would love to hear from you!

The role

• Preparing year end accounts for limited companies under FRS102 & FRS105
• Preparing VAT returns
• Bookkeeping duties up to trial balance
• Carrying out bank reconciliations
• Processing invoices
• Liaising with HMRC
• General ad hoc duties

You will need

• AAT/ ACCA/ ACA part qualified or willing to start studying
• Must have at least 1 year experience working in a UK accountancy practice (Healthcare experience would be a bonus)
• Experience with a variety of accounting software’s is desirable
• A positive attitude and able to work well within a team
