Job Title: Accountant
Location: Widnes 
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (Dependent on Experience)

We are recruiting for a leading independent accountancy firm in Widnes seeking an experienced and ideally qualified accountant to join their amazing team.
As an Accountant for the firm, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, providing them with high-quality advice and guidance on a wide range of accounting and financial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Providing advice on taxation matters including corporation tax, personal tax, and VAT.
• Assisting with bookkeeping and payroll services.
• Being proactive and innovative in identifying opportunities for clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an UK based accountancy practice.

• Ideally Fully or part qualified ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of UK Accountancy reporting standards
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
