Job Description:
As our client experience significant growth, we're on the lookout for accountants eager to become valuable members of our clients accounting team. Your role will involve managing and maintaining a portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of high service levels.

What the Role Entails:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, including proactive tax and accounting advice.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns to HMRC.
  • Monthly payroll preparation and submission to HMRC.
  • Producing and submitting statutory accounts and corporation tax returns in line with accounting reporting standards and tax guidelines.
  • Preparation and submission of self-assessment tax returns to HMRC.
  • Communication with HMRC and external agencies on behalf of our clients.
  • Involvement in the training of new team members.

  • Good organisational skills with a methodical approach to tasks of varying complexity.
  • Capability to work independently and contribute effectively to a team.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an accounting environment.
  • Qualified or studying towards a recognized accounting qualification such as AAT, ATT, or ACCA.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest accounting and tax legislation.
  • Ability to work to targets and contribute to meeting client filing deadlines.
