Key Responsibilities
As Manager of the Non-Audit Accounting Department, you will oversee accounting operations and offer strategic guidance to clients and team members.
Responsibilities include:

  1. Client Engagement and Relationship Management
  • Act as the main contact for a portfolio of clients, understanding their unique needs and offering expert advice and support.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships through regular communication and personalized solutions.
  1. Team Leadership and Development
  • Provide leadership to the Non-Audit Department team, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor team members, guiding them in technical skills, client management, and professional growth.
  1. Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities, providing strategic insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
  1. Process Improvement and Efficiency
  • Evaluate and enhance accounting processes and workflows to improve productivity and client value.
  • Identify automation and best practices opportunities to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  1. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
  • Stay updated on accounting standards and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
  • Oversee compliance activities to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications

  1. Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Chartered Accountants Ireland, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  1. Experience
  • Extensive accounting experience, particularly in practice.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, inspiring team members to achieve excellence.
  1. Skill Set
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish GAAP, auditing standards, and IFRS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset.
