Job Title: Trainee Accountant
A leading accountancy practice in Belfast is seeking a motivated Trainee Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in accounts preparation and who has ideally completed their Accounting Technician Ireland qualification.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements for clients.
• Support in the completion of VAT returns and tax compliance work.
• Work closely with senior accountants on audits and bookkeeping duties.
• Help prepare management accounts and reports.
• Communicate with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries.

Requirements:

• Experience in accounts preparation.
• Ideally, completed or working towards the Accounting Technician Ireland qualification.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (Sage or similar).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to develop a career in accountancy.
