Position Overview: I am seeking an experienced Tax Manager/Sr. Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to clients in a less stressful, more comfortable work setting. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to continuously expand their skills and contribute to a growing firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns for businesses, individuals, and trusts/estates
- Provide consulting, tax planning, and compliance services
- Research and advise on complex tax issues
- Manage multiple client engagements effectively
- Mentor and coach junior staff members
- Contribute to the improvement of internal tax processes and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA certification
- 7-10 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm
- Expertise in individual and business tax returns, with a strong understanding of accounting and trial balance entries
- Excellent client relationship management skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and time management abilities
- Experience with Ultra Tax & Lacerte is a plus
- Compilation and review experience is advantageous
