Puro Accountancy are delighted to be partnering with an accountancy practice in Dudley who are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join the team. This is due to expansion and great success over the last 12 months. They are looking for someone who is ambitious and wants to progress their career.

The Role

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients with a keen focus on advisory work
• The advisory work will involve M&A transactions, tax due diligence, share option schemes, R&D claims, restructures, succession and exit planning, including but not limited to, company buybacks & MBO’s
• Responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services in support of the Tax Partner
• Maximise fee income and supervising work in progress and billing for the department
• Tax returns - corporate and personal to review
• Assisting with training for staff
• Assistance and leading with the delivery of tax projects to include:
  • Research and development tax credits
  • Employee share schemes
  • Company mergers and acquisitions
  • Company reconstructions and demergers
  • Experience in Stamp duty (desirable)
  • Cross border tax experience (desirable)

 
You will be

• ACA or CTA (or equivalent) or qualified by experience
• Extensive experience of tax compliance services
• A broad and strong technical tax knowledge and experience
• Excellent written and presentation skills
• Experience of mentoring and developing people
• Take ownership of projects, effectively delegate to others within the team and take responsibility for quality control
• MUST have UK practice experience
