My clients expertise spans traditional tax and accounting, trust/estate/gift planning, financial statement assurance, risk advisory, outsourced internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley consulting, merger and acquisition planning, valuation services, financial projections and analysis, forensic auditing, and litigation support consulting. They are committed to delivering personalized, high-quality services to our clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee complex tax engagements, including federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients, including estate, gift, and trust tax planning.
  • Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Work with clients on M&A planning, due diligence, and post-transaction tax matters.
  • Collaborate with other service lines within the firm to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients (e.g., valuation services, financial projections, and litigation support).
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services and cross-selling.
  • Supervise and mentor tax staff, providing guidance, training, and professional development.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all tax filings.
  • Assist in representing clients before tax authorities during audits or examinations.
  • Stay current with new tax regulations, industry trends, and best practices to provide proactive guidance to clients.

Qualifications:

  • CPA certification required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience with M&A tax planning, estate, trust, and gift tax planning.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent client service and relationship management skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with tax software and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
