Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and not-for-profit entities.
- Conduct tax research and provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
- Analyze financial statements and collaborate with audit teams for integrated tax planning and compliance.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Assist in managing client relationships by providing proactive and value-added tax strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior accountants within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of tax experience, preferably in public accounting.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, with experience in multiple industries such as not-for-profit, real estate, and local government.
- Proficiency with accounting and tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, UltraTax, etc.).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex tax matters.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering superior client service.
