Puro Accountancy is happy to be supporting a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Leicester, who is seeking a Senior Accountant/Manager to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will work closely with the clients and be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, managing staff and reviewing the work of other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting and taxation services
• Preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax computations, VAT returns and other tax-related work for clients up to review stage
• Supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff
• Assisting in the training and development of junior team members
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations
• Managing the team and office

Requirements:

• At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines
