Puro Accountancy are thrilled to be supporting a leading accountancy practice in Loughborough, who are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing them with a wide range of accounting and tax services.

The Role:
Your role will include preparing statutory and non-statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and Limited Companies.

• Preparing statutory accounts using FRS 105 and/or FRS 102 for limited companies and sole traders
• Accounts preparation from clients’ core records
• Review of accounts prepared by junior team members
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Dealing with client queries
• Managing a portfolio of clients
• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Deal directly with clients and working alone at their premises when required
• Filing accounts. Ensuring accurate accounts are produced and submitted to Companies House on time

You:

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice
• AAT or ACCA/ACA qualified
• Experience using Accounting software such as Sage, QuickBook and Xero
• Excellent customer service and the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships
• Good time management and planning skills
