Our client, a leading accountancy practice in Coalville, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Semi-Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking to progress their career within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Preparation of management accounts and financial statements
• VAT returns preparation
• Bookkeeping and reconciliation of accounts
• Assist with audit assignments
• Liaise with clients and provide excellent customer service
• Ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Part qualified ACA/ACCA/AAT or equivalent
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Sage and Xero
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• A positive attitude and a desire to progress within the organisation
