About the Role:
A growing accountancy practice in Dundalk is looking for a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant to join their team. This role involves working with a diverse client base, providing accounting, tax, and advisory services across various sectors. The position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounts preparation, audit, and tax, looking to grow in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and companies
- Preparation of audited accounts and statutory returns
- Preparation and filing of all tax returns
- Assisting with client audits
- Bookkeeping and payroll calculations
- Supporting partners on special client assignments
Qualifications and Experience:
- Part-qualified or fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of accounts production, audit, and taxation
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence in client interactions
- Proficient in IT and accounting software
- Full driver’s license and access to a car
