Job Title: Part-Qualified Trainee Accountant
Location: Cork
Salary: €28,000 - €32,000
My client, a well-established accountancy practice in Cork, is seeking a Part-Qualified Trainee Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with practice experience looking to further their career in accounting within a supportive and professional environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts preparation, payroll, and tax.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare accounts for a variety of clients, including SMEs and sole traders
• Manage payroll processing for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns, including VAT, PAYE, and Income Tax
• Support senior accountants with client financial reporting and compliance
• Maintain and manage client records and documentation accurately

Requirements:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or similar)
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in an accountancy practice
• Experience in accounts preparation, payroll, and tax is essential
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
