Job Title: Part-Qualified Accountant
Location: Monahan Road, Cork
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Competitive, DOE
An established medium-sized accountancy practice in Cork is looking for a dedicated Part-Qualified Accountant with at least two years of experience as a trainee. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including SMEs, sole proprietors, and public bodies across various industries such as tourism, trade, hospitality, legal, retail, construction, IT, healthcare, and more.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients across multiple industries
• Assist with audit assignments and annual accounts preparation
• Prepare and submit company abridged accounts to the CRO
• Handle corporation tax, VAT, and PAYE/PRSI returns
• Prepare annual accounts for sole traders and manage income tax submissions
• Generate periodic management accounts and KPI reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and fiscal reporting requirements
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CPA part-qualified
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts preparation
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within a team
• Strong relationship management and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with Sage Accounts Production is preferred but not essential
• High level of enthusiasm, drive, and commitment
