We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a leading accountancy practice based in Weybridge. Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Maintain an organised filing system for all financial documents
• Assist with the implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
• General ad hoc duties as and when required

Requirements:

• AAT qualification or equivalent bookkeeping certification is desirable but not essential
• Must have at least a minimum of 3 years bookkeeping role in a UK accountancy practice
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Must have experience with a variety of accounting softwares
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
