Position Overview: I am seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join my client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, with a proven ability to manage the financial and tax needs of clients within our specialized industries. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and the ability to deliver strategic financial guidance.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports for clients in Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, Retail, Professional Services, Real Estate & Construction, and Healthcare sectors.
  • Provide comprehensive tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to clients, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, offering actionable insights to help clients achieve their business objectives.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective accounting strategies that align with industry-specific challenges and goals.
  • Conduct audits, reviews, and compilations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, addressing their financial and tax-related inquiries and providing ongoing support.
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff, providing guidance and feedback to foster their professional development.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and tax laws, ensuring the firm and its clients remain compliant and informed.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a strong emphasis on tax and financial reporting.
  • Experience working with clients in one or more of the following industries: Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, Retail, Professional Services, Real Estate & Construction, and Healthcare.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
