We are delighted to present an exciting opportunity to join our client, a prestigious Top 50 Accountancy Practice located in Stoke-on-Trent. They are currently seeking an experienced and driven Audit Senior to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients, ensuring that all assignments are completed to the highest standards within specified timeframes.
  • Conduct complex audits and provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to junior team members.
  • Identify and communicate any potential risks or issues to clients, offering proactive solutions and recommendations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent service and acting as a trusted advisor on financial and business matters.
  • Stay updated with industry developments, regulations, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance audit procedures and methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or nearing completion.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice, preferably within an audit-focused position.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and effectively manage relationships.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
