Puro Accountancy are delighted to be supporting a leading accountancy practice in Shrewsbury, who are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join their team as an Audit Semi-Senior. As an Audit Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for carrying out audits of their clients' financial statements and ensuring compliance with the relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and performing audits of client financial statements, including identifying and assessing risk, performing substantive testing, and preparing audit reports
• Building strong relationships with clients and working closely with them to understand their business and accounting practices
• Supervising and coaching junior team members and providing constructive feedback to help them develop their skills
• Ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within the allocated budget and timeframe
• Keeping up to date with relevant accounting and auditing standards and regulations

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in external audit within a reputable accounting practice
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
