Position: Accounts Assistant Manager
Location: Liverpool 
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Dependent on Experience)

We are on the lookout for a motivated Accounts Assistant Manager to join our client's team, dedicated to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients, nurturing strong relationships, and providing sound financial guidance.
• Preparing and reviewing annual accounts, corporation tax computations, and VAT returns.
• Leading and mentoring junior team members, offering guidance and constructive feedback.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Contributing to ad-hoc projects and special assignments when required.
• Demonstrate expertise in accounting, VAT, taxation, and general business advisory services aligned with our client needs.

Requirements:

• Ideally hold 3 years' experience working within a UK accounting practice.
• ACCA or ACA qualification would be advantageous
• QBE candidates will also be considered for this position.
• Full software training will be provided, but knowledge of IRIS, Xero and Sage would be an advantage.
• You must hold the right to fully work in the UK.
