Puro Accountancy is pleased to assist an Accountancy firm in Accrington in their quest for a full-time Senior Accountant to join their cohesive and experienced team of accounting professionals.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accounts include:
- Offering financial guidance while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and tax regulations
- Assisting in special projects and ad-hoc tasks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
- Nurturing strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business expansion and enhancement
- Managing a client portfolio, ensuring the delivery of top-notch accounting and tax services
- Preparation and review of annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members, with a focus on training and development
For the Senior Accounts role, candidates should possess:
- ACCA or ACA qualification preferably
- A minimum of 3 years' UK Practice Accountancy experience
- Profound technical proficiency in accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Sage, and other Accounting and Taxation software
- Consideration will also be given to Part-qualified individuals or those who are QBE
- Effective communication skills, capable of interacting confidently with clients and colleagues across all levels
