Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a varied portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships and Limited Companies accounts, tax, and VAT
• Ability to work to statutory and filing deadlines
• Involvement with job planning and ensure effective management of assignments and individuals
• Team management, planning effective PDR’s, coaching, and mentoring staff to ensure they remain engaged in their role
• Maintaining client relationships and gain and retain new business

Person Specification

• At least 5 years + managing a portfolio of clients and managing a team
• ACCA / ACA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong IT Skills, including a wide range of accounting software packages would be an advantage
• Appreciation of working to deadlines and budgets
• High level of accuracy
• Excellent client relationship skills
• Willingness to travel as client contact is essential
